Licensure
✓Licensed Doctor of Psychology - Upon Hire minimum California State License
Board Certification in Clinical Neuropsychology - preferred American Board of Professional Psychology - Clinical Neuropsychology
Certifications
✓Basic Life Support (BLS) - Upon Hire minimum
Education
✓Doctorate Degree Doctorate degree (PhD, EdD, or PsyD) in Psychology from a doctoral program accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA).
✓Completion of at least 1 year of an APA-accredited pre-doctoral internship.
Qualifications
✓Fellowship of appropriate training and demonstrated competency to practice within designated specialty. - minimum
✓Must have completed clinical specialty training as a practicing psychologist, status-post fellowship.
✓Experience and strong knowledge of assessment and intervention techniques in a medical setting.
✓Able to obtain CSMC Clinical Psychologist privileges (as delineated within the “Privilege Delineation Description and Standards”) - minimum

About the role

The Neuropsychologist evaluates and treats patients in accordance with the reason for referral by the referring physician. Provides assessment and psychotherapeutic support to the patient and caregiver(s) as well as consultation with the Rehabilitation team.
