Position Details: Full Time- Monday - Friday work schedule including call coverageAssist neurosurgeon in the OR 3 days per week, clinic & hospital 2 daysConduct pre-operative and post-operative patient assessmentsManage patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settingsProvide education and counseling to patients and their familiesPlan treatment and document using EPIC EMRCollaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plansComprehensive benefit package with health, life, dental, vision and 401KRequirements:Texas licensed & Board-Certified Physician AssistantGraduate of accredited Physician Assistant programMinimum of 2 years of experience in neurosurgery preferred.

Strong clinical skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environmentThe Physician Assistant (“PA”) will be licensed as a physician assistant in the State of Texas and maintain such license in good standing at all times. Master's degree Physician Assistant required. The PA will report to the supervising physician and/or the Medical Director and will be responsible for meeting CME requirements to maintain certification and licensure.
