You’ll need
Licensure
✓An Ohio RN license is not required to be considered for this position.
✓If selected to move forward, employment offers may be made contingent on candidate successfully obtaining RN license within time frame discussed at the time of offer acceptance.
Certifications
✓Current BLS Provider Certification, issued by the American Heart Association, must be obtained during Nursing Orientation.
Education
✓Diploma RN, Associate or Bachelor's Degree of Nursing from an accredited program
BSN preferred
Qualifications
✓Demonstrates technical skills in care delivery that result in safe practice and positive care outcomes.
✓Demonstrates clear communication and effective collaboration to optimize patient care and clinical operations.
✓Displays leadership that influences optimal clinical and operational outcomes
✓Displays the mission of the hospital and its values.
Prior experience on a related unit or specialty in a practicum, internship or STNA/PCNA/NAII is preferred

About the role
Lakeside 20 is an Age Friendly Unit that participates in ACE (Acute Care of the Elderly) rounds on Tuesdays & Thursdays. Age Friendly health systems focus on how to better the support for the needs of older adults. We see many different patient diagnoses including: liver disease, renal disease, pneumonia, CHF, GI bleed, hemodialysis, COPD, ESRD, asthma, sepsis, falls, placement.
