Non-Certified Dispensing Technician

1st Shift JOB PURPOSE: Durham-based pharmacy part of a regional company is in search of full-time pharmacy technicians to fill medication orders under the direction of a pharmacist. KEY

• Pulls correct medication from shelf and scans against prescription label for accuracy. Packages medication in appropriate container for correct dispensing system. Labels medication container with correct prescription label and necessary auxiliary labels. Replenishes medications in emergency boxes accurately Prints delivery manifests and places in correct delivery tote. Locks delivery tote when ready for delivery; insures totes are loaded to delivery vehicle. Pulls stickers for reorder items and forwards to Inventory Manager. Places received stock on shelves accurately. Generates reports and labels as required. Maintains logs, records and other required documentation accurately. Pre-packages and unit-dose medications for inventory stocking and prescription order dispensing. MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
• PTCB certification a plus, but not required
