You’ll need
Licensure
✓PA-C: Physician Assistant certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician's Assistants (NCCPA) AND Licensed by the Oregon Board of Medical Examiners (OBME) – OR - NP: Nurse Practitioner licensed by Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) AND RN: Registered Nurse licensed by Oregon
Certifications
✓BLS: Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association (AHA) is required upon start
✓Required certifications based on area of specialty and define by Asante medical staff services are as follows:
✓Advance Care Nurse Practitioner Certification
✓Must obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges
✓Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs

Education
✓Graduation from an accredited Physician’s Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Program approved by the American Medical Association is required
Qualifications
✓1 year in primary care, emergency room, surgery or occupational medicine settings is required
✓Provider shall meet all qualifications to participate in hospital's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage.
