Certifications
✓Addendums are required for 0153 Nurse Leader, 0249 Registry RN, 0252 Registered Nurse, 0235 Advanced Registered Nurse, and 0236 Expert Registered Nurse.
Education
✓Satisfactory completion of formal nuclear medicine program, or radiologic technology with additional nuclear training.
Qualifications
✓Previous experience in Nuclear Medicine preferred, but not required, or previous experience in a similar role.
✓Knowledge of imaging the various anatomical structures.
✓Must be able to lift 50 lbs., 100 lbs. shared lifting.
✓Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
✓Must be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of general computer skills and applications.
✓Must be able to take call, evenings, weekends and holidays.
✓Demonstrates ability to multi‐task and work independently using critical thinking skills.
About the role
Operates gamma cameras to perform standard dynamic, static and tomographic procedures, to provide excellence diagnostic images for interpretation. Is responsible for preparing, calibrating and calculating radiopharmaceuticals, while maintaining sterility and integrity of the prepared radiopharmaceutical compound.
