Nuclear Med Technologist-PRN

Perform a full spectrum of diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures. Work with fellow staff technologists, supervisor and medical director to maximize patient throughput in a trauma one medial center teaching environment. Qualifications Age of Patients Served: All Age Groups Required

Associate's degree; Graduate of an approved nuclear medicine training program. Necessary

1. Have the mathematical skills to properly calculate doses and apply routine nuclear medicine formulas as needed. 2. Work with fellow technologist and professional staff to maximize patient workload.

Required Licensure/Certifications: - Certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) and/or registered as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT(N)), - Licensed by the State of Florida as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, - Current Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (CPR) Required

Less than one year - Graduate from an approved nuclear medicine program. Preferred

One to two years experience preferred.
