What You’ll Do As a Nuclear Medicine-PET Technologist, you are the bridge between sophisticated radiopharmacy and vital diagnostic answers. You will safely prepare and administer radioactive isotopes, operate top-tier Nuclear and PET imaging systems, and perform complex dynamic function studies. Your precision and compassionate patient care will directly shape the life-saving diagnoses and treatment pathways of our community.
Qualifications for Success Graduation from a formal, accredited Nuclear Medicine program approved by the ARRT or NMTCB. (Experienced technologists and high-caliber new graduates are welcome!) Active certification/registration as an ARRT (N) or NMTCB . In-depth knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and nuclear techniques (planar, SPECT, nuclear cardiology, and processing).
