Rotating | PRN How you’ll make an impact in this role Perform therapeutic and diagnostic procedures as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, delivering high-quality imaging that supports accurate physician interpretation and improved pediatric patient care. Maintain and operate nuclear imaging equipment to detect and map radiopharmaceutical distribution in pediatric patients, producing precise diagnostic images. Administer radiopharmaceuticals within scope of practice and monitor pediatric patient responses to ensure safety, compliance, and optimal clinical outcomes.
Implement radiation safety standards and quality improvement practices to protect children, families, and staff while meeting regulatory requirements. Ensure accurate clinical documentation and timely image submission to PACS and Electronic Health Records (EHR/EMR) to support care coordination and continuity. What minimum requirements you’ll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Radiologic Technologist specializing in General Practice credentialed from the Texas Medical Radiologic Technologist Certification Program obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. One or more of the following required: Nuclear Medical Tech credentialed from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Nuclear Cardiology Technologist (NMTCB-NCT) also accepted. Radiologic Technologist specializing in Nuclear Medicine credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
