Licensure
✓The Nuclear Medicine Technologist is responsible, under the direction of a physician licensed to utilize radioactive materials, for performing or assisting in the performance of diagnostic or therapeutic procedures using radionuclides or brachytherapy sources.
Certifications
✓If do not have current registry, must complete certification registry within 1 year of hire date.
Education
✓Graduate of an AMA approved program of Nuclear Medicine.
✓Must be certified by either the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists as RT(N) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board as a CNMT and have an Associates Degree in Nuclear Imaging or Business.
Bachelors Degree preferred.
Qualifications
✓Will posses the education and skills to perform all job responsibilities of a staff nuclear medicine technologist, which include direct/indirect care of patients.
