You’ll need
Licensure
✓Current Louisiana State Radiologic Technologist License (LSRT) required.
Certifications
✓ARRT certification in Nuclear Medicine (N) is required.
✓Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Education
✓Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
Qualifications
✓Knowledge of radiologic imaging techniques and patient positioning.
✓Ability to operate radiology equipment safely and efficiently.
✓Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
✓Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
✓Ability to provide imaging services to patients across the lifespan.
✓1–2 years of Nuclear Medicine experience in a hospital or emergency department setting.
✓Familiarity with PACS and electronic medical record systems.
✓Experience performing imaging exams on emergency, inpatient, and outpatient populations.
