Nuclear Medicine Tech – Radiology Diagnostics Department Bring your passion to Texas Health so we are Better + Together Work location: Texas Health FriscoWork Hours: This is a PRN, as-needed position with scheduling based on department needs. Shifts are typically Monday through Friday, with occasional on-call duties. Candidates must live within one hour of the facility.

Participation in the department's on-call and holiday rotation is required. Here’s What You Need Other Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology or nuclear medicine is required OrAssociate’s Degree is preferredHospital experience is preferredARRT – American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Nuclear Medicine Upon Hire is required OrCNMT – Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist NMTCB Upon Hire is required AndCMRT – Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist either by the TDH or TMB Upon Hire is required AndBCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly is required Communication, computer, venipunctureWhat You Will Do Explains procedures to patient or guardian / family member if applicable prior to examProcesses and manipulates images, analyzes image quality, troubleshoots, makes technique adjustments or repeat procedures as needed 8.
