You’ll need
Licensure
✓Unemcumbered license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State, required.
Certifications
✓Certified by National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA) within one (1) year of graduating from an accredited nurse anesthesia program, required.
✓American Heart Association BCLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications, required.
Education
✓Masters and/or Doctoral degree in related field, required.
✓Graduate from a nurse anesthesia program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs (COA), required.
