You’ll need
Licensure
✓Holds current active state licensure as a registered nurse in the state of Texas and complies with any applicable state statutory and regulatory requirements concerning CRNAs.
Certifications
✓Is currently certified or recertified by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists.
✓Must possess Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
✓Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) required upon hire or within 6 months.
Education
✓Graduate of a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs or its predecessor.
Qualifications
✓Minimum 3 years’ experience as a CRNA Recommended.
✓Insurable by an appropriate medical malpractice insurer for the limits required by this institution or state.
✓Demonstrates current competency in the clinical responsibilities.
✓Experience with regional anesthesia blocks to include Epidurals, Spinals, Interscalene, and Femoral Nerve bocks, Recommended.
