✓The nurse assistant needs to have been a certified nurse aide, is currently a certified nurse aide, or has completed their first level of a nursing program.
About the role
The job duties include taking vital signs, reporting abnormalities to the nurses, assisting patients with bathing, feeding, turning, toileting, patient care, and assisting nurses within their scope of practice. The shift is a 12-hour shift, with an alternating pattern, which includes being off every other Fri-Sat-Sun. A general hospital orientation along with a 1 on 1 specific unit orientation is provided.
