Licensure
✓Current South Carolina licensure as a registered nurse or compact state.
Certifications
✓Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required.
✓Other certifications may be required to maintain employment for a respective department.
Education
✓Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing and a minimum of three years of applied clinical experience as an RN.
✓A Masters Degree in Nursing may be substituted for 1 year of required experience.
Master’s degree from an accredited school of nursing preferred.
Qualifications
✓Extensive knowledge of the unit’s patient population, health care trends, community and regional resources and service availability to these populations.
✓An ability to establish comparative working relationships with diverse groups and individuals, medical staff, and other health care disciplines.
