A Bachelor's degree in Nursing. Must hold current New York State Registered Nurse registration and certification or eligible for licensure in New York State.
Demonstrated clinical competence and in depth knowledge in specialty area. COMMUNICATION
Creates a collegial and collaborative environment among all members of the healthcare team. Demonstrated effective leadership, teaching, research and communication skills. PROFESSIONAL
Demonstrates responsibility and accountability for decisions. Utilizes problem-solving and decision making skills. Coaches and mentors staff.
Researches and develops specialty specific practice standards and communicates them to other staff in their area of specialty. REASONING ABILITY: Ability to identify problems collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to improve job performance through continuing education.
