Acute/Critical Care Clinical Nurse Specialist (CCNS) [Preferred]
Education
✓Bachelor's of Nursing [Required]
Master's of Nursing [Preferred]
Qualifications
✓Must have excellent customer service/communication skills. [Required]
✓Must have the ability to develop outstanding rapport and work well with the physicians & staff. [Required]
✓Ability to communicate effectively and present information to both large and small groups. [Required]
✓Computer knowledge and skills, prior experience with an Electronic Health Record. [Required]
✓Knowledge of regulatory standards (Joint Commission, OSHA, Specialty Standards). [Required]
✓Excellent time management and problem-solving skills. [Required]
✓Ability to collaborate effectively with various levels of the healthcare team to establish, define, and refine departmental goals, resolve patient care problems, and implement systems for coordinating and integrating nursing in the healthcare delivery system. [Required]
✓Demonstrates knowledge of state, federal, and accreditation regulations that guide nursing services by updating departmental policies, practices, and procedures while ensuring compliance. [Required]
✓Empowers staff through support of educational offerings related to career growth and professional development. [Required]
✓Models critical thinking skills, serves as a resource for employees, and demonstrates behaviors and attitudes consistent with the organization's philosophy, mission, goals, and policies/procedures. [Required]
✓Demonstrates high level of prioritization, dependability, and punctuality; establishes and maintains regular attendance and observes department call-in procedures for absence. [Required]
✓Participates in hospital and community outreach offerings and serves as a role model for patient experience standards. [Required
✓Supervises and develops work schedules for unit personnel, monitors utilization of unit supplies and equipment, and is proactive in recommending cost-saving measures. [Required]
✓Required to respond to emergency situations by reporting to the department and staying until the crisis is over or the position is covered by incoming personnel. [Required]
✓Must have the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care that addresses the physical, psychosocial, educational, safety, and age-appropriate needs of the patient population served within the department. [Required]
