✓Current unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Rhode Island.
Certifications
✓Maintains required licensure, credentials and certifications.
✓Specialty certification in relevant clinical area required within two years of hire or appointment.
✓BLS credential required
✓additional certifications or credentials as appropriate for clinical area.

Education
✓Minimum of Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
Master’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, or related field strongly preferred.
Qualifications
✓Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive clinical nursing experience.
✓Ability to move throughout patient care and administrative areas.
✓Ability to use computer systems for extended periods.
✓Ability to respond effectively during emergency situations.
✓Manual dexterity and mobility required.
✓While performing the major responsibilities of this position, the incumbent must be able to regularly sit, stand or walk, and occasionally reach for prolonged periods of time.
✓Must be able to lift, push, move and/or carry supplies or equipment up to 25 pounds, and occasionally be able to bend, stoop, crouch or kneel.
Minimum of 2 years of leadership, charge nurse, supervisor, assistant nurse manager, or equivalent experience preferred.
Demonstrated experience in quality improvement, staff development, and operational management preferred.
