Job Requirements Certified Nurse Midwife – UM Shore Regional Health University of Maryland Shore Regional Health, a member of the University of Maryland Medical System (UMMS), is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife to join its Women's Health team in Easton, Maryland. The Certified Nurse Midwife provides comprehensive, patient-centered care throughout pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum recovery, and routine gynecologic care.
The CNM works collaboratively with OB/GYN physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality women's healthcare. Key Responsibilities Provide full-scope midwifery care in collaboration with the OB/GYN team. Deliver comprehensive prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care.
Provide routine well-woman gynecologic services. Attend deliveries at UM Shore Medical Center at Easton. Coordinate patient care and collaborate with interdisciplinary clinical teams.
Qualifications Master's degree and completion of an accredited advanced practice program. Appropriate Maryland nursing and advanced practice licensure. Current BLS certification or ability to obtain before providing direct patient care.
DEA and CDS eligibility. Prior midwifery experience preferred, but new graduates encouraged to apply.
