You’ll need
Licensure
✓Current Registered Nurse license in either the state of Minnesota or Wisconsin upon hire.
✓Must provide proof of application for alternate state license prior to start and obtain the second license within 30 days of hire.
✓Both Minnesota and Wisconsin RN license must be maintained.
Certifications
✓Current Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification or willing to obtain within 2 years of hire OR successful completion of 36 cancer-related continuing education nursing contact hours each Commission on Cancer accreditation cycle.
✓Current colleagues have until July 1, 2028, to become OCN certified.
✓Current BLS provider status in accordance with American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines.
Education
✓Graduation from an accredited school of nursing (RN).
✓Associate’s degree in nursing
Qualifications
✓Two years of nursing experience in oncology (medical, surgical, radiation or infusion).
✓On-line only is not accepted.

The Oncology Nurse Navigator serves as a patient advocate and care coordinator for individuals diagnosed with cancer.
