Responsibilities he Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner provides direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, patient care planning, prescription of pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment of mental health and/or substance issues. The psychiatric nurse practitioner may also complete Utilization Review calls on behalf of physicians and provide services at the partial hospitalization program.
