Performs cardiology procedures under the supervision of a Cardiologist. Assists with research efforts for the Division. Assists cardiology attending in daily clinical activities Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing Master’s Degree in Nursing – Nurse Practitioner Five (5) years post master’s degree experience as Nurse Practitioner New York State Licensed Registered Professional Nurse New York State Licensed Nurse Practitioner Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS Knowledge of Cardiac Medications Knowledge of stress testing protocols Knowledge of Holter monitor Knowledge and Ability to perform conscious sedation Knowledge of Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory procedures - PREFERRED Excellent written and verbal communication skills Computer knowledge and skills Multidisciplinary team and patient.
