You’ll need
Licensure
✓Current and valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Texas.
✓Current DEA, DOP, NPDB
Certifications
✓Current Basic Cardiac Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support is required.
Certified to practice as a Family Health Practitioner. preferred
Additional training or certification in geriatrics or pediatric care. preferred
Education
✓Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
Qualifications
✓Driver's license and vehicle liability insurance required.
✓Advanced training in the provision of primary health and medical care.
✓Minimum of 1 year clinical experience in urgent care, family medicine, or related settings.
F amiliarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems used in urgent care centers. preferred
Strong background in patient safety initiatives and quality improvement processes. preferred
