The Nurse Practitioner will be part of the Oncology care team ensuring excellent care and services are provided to in-patient hematology/oncology patients with respect and compassion. There will also be some out-patient coverage as needed.Practice the art and science of evidence-based nursing at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. Lead the charge in improving the patient care experience. Now, you have the opportunity to join us by stepping into this exciting role.This position is a full-time, 40-hour role, scheduled five days per week. There is a future possibility of transitioning to a four-day, 10-hour schedule. The role will support both inpatient and outpatient services. Schedule and hours may vary based on operational needs and may include weekend rotation. Preferred Criteria
Ability to work independently and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team
2+ years experience as a Nurse Practitioner
National Certification as a Nurse Practitioner in the area of specialty Required Criteria:
BSN
Master's degree in Advanced Practice in area of specialty
Current NYS RN license
Current NYS NP license in area of specialty
