You’ll need
Licensure
✓Graduate of an accredited Nurse practitioner program approved by the California Board of Registered (ANCC).
✓Current CA RN License.
✓Nurse Practitioner and Furnishing License.
Certifications
✓National Certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
✓ACLS & PALS
Education
✓Master of Nursing Degree.
Qualifications
✓Prior surgical clinic and operating room experience required.
✓Experience managing patients across the perioperative continuum.
✓Prior operating room experience or exposure.
✓Ability to work effectively across clinic, OR, and inpatient environments.
✓Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) (eligible to obtain)
Previous experience in plastic surgery preferred.

About the role
The Plastic Surgery Department is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join a collaborative team providing comprehensive surgical care across the patient continuum. Working closely with Plastic Surgery faculty, physicians, APPs, nursing, and multidisciplinary teams, the NP will support patient evaluation, perioperative care, postoperative management, and continuity of care.
