You’ll need
Licensure
✓Current Wisconsin RN and APRN license and certification as a FNP
✓Physician Assistant: Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program with current PA certification by NCCPA and registration as a PA by the Wisconsin State Board of Medical Practice.
✓An unrestricted prescriptive authority in Wisconsin, (Wisconsin Board of Medical Examiners and DEA).
Certifications
✓BLS, ACLS (CALS and PALS or ATLS) certifications are preferred by the time of starting the position and are required by completion of orientation.
Education
✓Nurse Practitioner: Masters prepared graduate of an accredited school of nursing and Nurse Practitioner program.
Qualifications
✓Emergency Medicine Fellowship, or 2 years of Emergency Medicine experience is preferred but not required.

About the role
NPs PAs provides 24/7 practice coverage alongside their physician colleagues. The NP PA serves as an independent provider, collaborates with physicians and works with a variety of other healthcare professionals. The NP PA will provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, ordering, conducting and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescription of pharmacological agents, and patient education.
