Atlantic Health System is Seeking a Per Diem Advanced Practice Professional (NP/PA) Atlantic Health System, one of New Jersey’s largest non-profit healthcare networks, is seeking an Advanced Practice Professional (NP/PA) to join the Gagnon Cardiovascular Institute, Cardiac Surgery Program at Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center. S. News & World Report ranked Morristown Medical Center as a top hospital nationwide for cardiology & heart surgery. Advanced Practice Professional (NP/PA) will be working in our 24 beds Critical Care unit and will be integral in the pre/post operative care of cardiac surgery patients in collaboration interdisciplinary team that includes Surgeons, Intensivists, NPs& PAs.
The ideal candidate will have procedural based experience including but not limited to central line placements, a-line insertions, and will initiate appropriate interventions and orders appropriate diagnostic tests. Critical Care experience is preferred. Qualifications Master’s degree as Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant from an accredited program NP or PA Certification and NJ License is required DEA and CDS is required ACLS and BLS required Minimum of 2-3 years of Critical Care or Cardiology experience Must have excellent communication and computer skills Strong work ethic and a team player who can work independently Benefits Competitive Per Diem Rate Comprehensive Malpractice Policy Outstanding growth & mentorship opportunities
