Licensure
✓Current New Mexico advanced practice nursing as CNS or NP license required.
✓DEA, and CNS or NP licensure required.
Certifications
✓Requires Wound Specialist certification within 1 year of hire.
Qualifications
✓Compiles and analyzes data from multiple sources to independently formulate differential diagnosis, plan of medical management/plan of care, and monitors and evaluates outcomes for the patients served.
✓Accurately orders and interprets appropriate diagnostic tests. Prescribes necessary treatments and/or medications. Performs minor surgical procedures. Provides referrals to other disciplines for services identified to meet patient's needs.
✓Work autonomously as well as in collaboration with other members of the health care team when identified issues are beyond the APRN scope of practice. Delegates appropriately.
