Nursing Supervisor NON- UNION FULL TIME 12 HOUR SHIFTS VARIABLE HOURS ALTERNATING WEEKENDS $125,000/YEAR
A Registered Professional Nurse who assists in the planning, directing, coordinating and evaluating Nursing Services. Responsible for the administrative operation of the Department of Nursing for a specific, assigned tour. The Nursing Supervisor, on tour, acts as a surrogate if the Hospital or Nursing Administrator is not present, limited to those circumstances which are specifically not delegated to the Administrator-on-Call and /or the Nursing Administrator on call.
Requirements/Qualifications: Current licensed as a Professional Registered Nurse in New York State BCLS/ACLS required Bachelors of Science in Nursing required. Master’s degree preferred Five years of combined clinical and management experience Previous Nursing Supervisor experience preferred Skills Basic ability to read and communicate effective in English Additional languages preferred Basic computer knowledge Education Bachelor's Science (required) Licenses and Certifications NIHSS Stroke (required) Five Hours CEU Stroke (required) NYS RN (required) ACLS CERT AMERICAN HEART (required) BLS CERT AMERICAN HEART (required)
