Job OverviewThis nursing support position is eligible for a $1,500 sign on bonus! Shift differentials of $1.00 evenings and $1.50 nights Ebenezer is seeking a Nursing Assistant/Registered (CNA/NAR) to support our adult residents in our Skilled Nursing Facility in Lake City, MN! This role provides hands on care and support services for our Care Center long term care unit residents and young adult-geriatric Transitional care unit patients.

This patient support schedule includes;56 hours in two weeksEvening shiftEvery other weekend and holiday rotationReimbursement of previous costs to take a CNA course /state NA exams, if this is your first time requesting reimbursementLake City Care Center is nestled near the picturesque Lake Pepin in southeast Minnesota. Assists resident based on individual care plan with personal cares such as; bathing, oral hygiene, grooming, toileting, dressing, showers and responds to call lightsNursing Assistant may per community patient care model check and record vitalsAM/PM cares; including peri care and catheter careMay turn, lift or transfer residents with or without other persons/mechanical assistanceObserves residents and reports status to appropriate staff in a clear and concise mannerChart or document in electronic medical record systemSeeks to resolve resident and family concernsReceives and gives report to appropriate staff during various times in work shiftOther duties such as; order and cleanliness in rooms and work areas, reports malfunctioning equipment to maintenance department, and answers phones in a timely mannerRequired:Active on MN Nursing Assistant registry by start dateIf hired into the Ebenezer Nursing Assistant Training program, granted a 4-month grace period from hire date to be active on the MN Nursing Assistant registryPreferred:Ability to work with a diverse and geriatric populationCommunicate efficiently, with empathy and understanding for residents and coworkersExperience working as a HHA, PCA, DSP, NA, Resident AssistantWork experience in a customer service setting Benefit OverviewEbenezer offers a generous benefits package, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision plans, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance, PTO and Sick and Safe Time, tuition reimbursement, retirement, early access to earned wages, and more!
