You’ll need
Certifications
✓o Any STNA certified outside the state of Ohio, must complete the Nurse Aide Request for Reciprocity form and submit to the state of Ohio.
✓o Must complete 12 hours training to retain STNA certification, per calendar year.
✓BLS Required, within 60 days of hire
Education
✓o All aides hired in must complete the course work required and successfully pass the state test for nursing assistants within 6 months, as applicable and offered by Holzer Health Systems.
✓o Current nursing assistants have 12 months to complete course work and state testing.
✓o Exceptions include aides with 10+ years of Holzer aide experience or currently enrolled into healthcare course work.
Qualifications
✓Must be at least 16 years or older.
✓First aide training required, within 30 days of hire
✓Driving record must be acceptable by HHS insurance and willingness to drive company vehicle to transport residents as needed (excludes minors).
Prior experience in a comparable post-acute facility preferred.
