Nursing Director - Emergency Room

Up to $15,000 SOB for qualified candidates, paid over 24 months Full Time, Days Responsible for the administrative and clinical aspects of the clinical department/unit(s) to include organizing, developing, directing, and assuring the delivery of cost effective, quality patient care. Ensures that patient care on the unit(s) is performed in accordance with established corporate and hospital policies and procedures, Federal and State regulations, and TJC and ANA standards.

Responsibilities The Emergency Department Registered Nurse is responsible for the assessment, planning, interventions, and evaluations which facilitate patient care. Teaching patients and significant others information concerning health care needs is essential to the care giving process. Works as a member of the multidisciplinary team to promote high quality, cost efficient health care.

Bachelors Degree in Nursing required or related field Masters Degree preferred in Nursing, Education, Management or related field, or demonstrated equivalent competencies Nationally certified in area of specialty preferred

Clinical and administrative practice Five (5) years Nursing experience required; Three to Five years Emergency Nursing preferred. Working knowledge of Quality Improvement process and TJC standards

Registered Nurse - licensed in the State of Florida. BLS (AHA), ACLS, PALS OTHER

TNCC preferred CEN preferre #LI-JG2
