Licensure
✓Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program and currently licensed or eligible for licensure as a Physician Assistant or completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program and currently licensed or eligible for licensure as an APRN as noted below.
✓If applicable, DHEC and DEA license applications must be started prior to first day.
Certifications
✓All certifications must be current and complete prior to start date:
✓Basic Life Support (BLS).
✓Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
Qualifications
Preferred experience in an adult PACU, ICU, emergency department, surgical/trauma step-down unit, procedural recovery area, or another high-acuity setting involving airway management, hemodynamic stabilization, and postoperative care.

About the role

The APP would be the primary provider working alongside 2 Registered Nurse and a Patient Care Technician responsible for the assessment of post-surgical complications and providing intervention/ treatment as needed. Complete discharge orders post op day one.
