✓Minimum two (2) years of recent (within the last 5 years) RN experience in Operating Room.
✓Evidence of demonstrated or potential leadership ability, including charge nurse, team leader, or other management experience.
Perioperative ophthalmic experience preferred
Advanced computer skills desired, including proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and educational research systems. preferred
Demonstrated experience in direct workflow with peers. preferred
Supervisory/management experience with responsibilities for staff development preferred
Experience with new program development. preferred
Excellent customer service, team building, and problem-solving skills. preferred
Ability to work with multiple disciplines. preferred

About the role

Provide professional nursing leadership and administrative direction for nursing practice within the Kellogg Eye Center Operating Rooms. This includes supervision of nursing, surgical technologist, and support staff. Share 24/7 phone/pager coverage that addresses department operational needs.
