The Observation unit at Northwest Hospital is a 20-bed unit that cares for a diverse mix of diagnoses. Most patients stay on this unit for less than 24 hours. Nurses on this unit specialize in telemetry, stroke and advanced cardiac life support (ACLS).

Functions under the supervision of the RN in a cooperative effort with the health care team to assist in providing a variety of patient care related duties. Maintains the standards of nursing care for al patients and implements the policies and procedures of the unit, Hospital and Nursing Department.
Required: * Less than one year
Preferred: * High School / GED Licensures &
Required: * Basic Life Support * Current Maryland CNA certification (CNA-I or CNA-II) Credential Note: Cardiac Arrythmia Recognition (as applicable) (Other)
$20.00 to $27.29 Based On Experience
