You’ll need
Certifications
✓Must possess ServSafe Certification.
Education
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Qualifications
✓Good communication skills, ability to follow written and verbal instructions and complete simple computational skills.
✓Excellent customer service skills are a must.
✓Some bending, lifting, pushing and pulling required.
✓Ability to work in a team environment.
✓Possesses necessary skills to effectively operate hospital's admission, discharge and transfer (ADT) system and other computer-based systems, which manage patient-care records.
✓Ability to open/close kitchen keeping safety a top priority.
✓Must possess the ability to lead by example.
✓Must have zero corrective action during the previous 12 months .
Health care experience involving food services or 2 years of experience in service industry preferred.
Basic knowledge of therapeutic diets preferred with the ability to train new hires.
