Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care to patients as described in unit/department-based competencies, policies, and procedures. Successful completion of on the job training for sterile technique, maintenance of sterile field and instrument care/handling (Obstetrics and Surgery)Successful completion of on the job EKG and phlebotomy training (Emergency)
Preferred Education and ExperiencePrevious exposure to a medical environment. Preferred License/Certifications/RegistrationsCertification as a MA, CNA, EMT, or HHA in the state of KansasPhlebotomy Technician PBT (ASCP)Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Basic computer skills.
