✓Basic Life Support (BLS) certification AHA – American Heart Association rquired within 90 days of hire.

Education
✓High School Diploma or equivalent required . CNA Certification required . Associate’s degree in surgical technology, allied health, or a related clinical/healthcare discipline preferred.
Qualifications
✓IA Child Abuse Mandatory Reporter Training in state(s) where providing care required within 90 days of hire.
✓Surgical Scrub Technique: Maintain sterile field and assist during C-sections and OB-related surgical procedures using strict aseptic technique. Newborn Care Assistance: Support initial newborn care post-delivery, including baths and hearing screens (under RN supervision).
1 year of OB surgical support experience preferred.
