Qualifications Education/Qualification High School diploma or equivalency Completion of an accredited surgical technology program or certification or degree from an accredited nursing program or equivalent Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) is preferred Skills Able to speak and write English Fluently Demonstrated communication, organization and critical thinking skills Knowledge of medical terminology Knowledge of surgical instruments About Universal Health Services: One of the nation’s largest and most respected providers of hospital and healthcare services, Universal Health Services, Inc.
