OB/GYN Physician York, PA Full Time (1.0 FTE) About the Opportunity: We are seeking an experienced Board-Certified Obstetrician & Gynecologist - Residency Preceptor to join our academic team. This position combines clinical practice with teaching responsibilities in a dynamic residency program. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in outpatient care and a passion for educating future physicians.
Key
Precepting
Supervise and mentor residents in the outpatient clinic setting. Provide guidance on patient care, clinical decision-making, and professional development. Clinical Duties: See patients in the office and precept residents during clinic sessions.
Outpatient office only Maintain a 50/50 split between OB and GYN care , with no delivery responsibilities . Typical patient volume: Precepting: 12–15 patients/day (2–3 residents in morning, 2–3 residents in afternoon) Independent practice: 20–25 patients/day. Schedule & Call: No call responsibilities.
Primarily outpatient with limited minor surgical procedures. Team Structure: 6 physicians (plus 5 preceptors – mix of full-time and part-time). 5 APPs (Mix of CRNP and Midwives). 20 residents in the program.
Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology Minimum 5 years of clinical experience in OB/GYN. Demonstrated teaching experience and strong interest in academic medicine. Extensive outpatient experience preferred.
