✓4. Three (3) years of nursing leadership experience.
✓1. Ability to apply the skills and knowledge necessary to provide care to patients throughout the life span, with consideration of aging processes, human development stages and cultural patterns in each step of the care process.
✓2. Management and interpersonal skills necessary to provide leadership to a variety of employees; to maintain a variety of internal and external contacts; and to interact effectively with patients, families; physicians and other departments.
✓3. Analytical abilities/critical thinking skills to identify and resolve operational problems.
✓4. Demonstrated leadership abilities.
✓5. Ability to work effectively under stressful conditions.
✓6. Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
✓7. Ability to adapt in a changing environment.
✓8. Ability to collect, track and trend data in order to identify opportunities for performance improvement.
✓9. Clinical competence in nursing practice.
✓1 0 . Ability to work collaboratively with nurses, physicians and administrative colleagues.
✓1 1 . Ability to navigate complex electronic clinical and administrative information systems and applications.
