You’ll need
Licensure
✓Currently licensed as a COTA in the state of Ohio required.
Certifications
✓BLS certification within 30 days of employment required.
Education
✓Associate degree from an accredited program for Certified Occupational Therapist Assistants required.
Qualifications
✓Requires effective communication and the analytical skills necessary to implement planned treatment programs, identifying changes in patient’s condition, and adjusting activities accordingly.
✓Demonstrates acceptable work performance by exhibiting a positive and constructive attitude, initiative, dependability, cooperation, and skill in verbal and written expression.
✓Abides by the Code of Ethical Conduct as defined by the Code of Ethics by the AOTA.
