You’ll need
Licensure
✓Currently licensed as a COTA in the state of Ohio required.
Certifications
✓Associate Degree from an accredited two-year college program for Certified Occupational Therapist Assistants required.
✓BLS Certification within 30 days of hire
Qualifications
✓Abides by the Code of Ethical Conduct as defined by the Code of Ethics by the AOTA.
✓Requires effective communication and the analytical skills necessary to implement planned treatment programs, identifying changes in patient’s condition, and adjusting activities accordingly.
✓Demonstrates acceptable work performance by exhibiting a positive and constructive attitude, initiative, dependability, cooperation, and skill in verbal and written expression.

About the role
Under the supervision of the Rehabilitation Services Department Supervisor and in accordance with established policies and procedures, the Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) collaborates closely with the Occupational Therapist to deliver patient-centered care.
