Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas has served North County’s coastal communities since 1978. Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas’ campus includes Scripps Clinic Encinitas and an outpatient imaging center.

We’re home to notable specialty programs including a 24-hour emergency room, accredited stroke care, physical rehabilitation services (including a brain injury day treatment program), our Baby Friendly birthing pavilion and a Level II neonatal intensive care unit. This is a per diem position working varied days including weekends at Scripps Encinitas. This large inter-disciplinary rehab department relies on teamwork to treat a wide variety of diagnoses, from stroke rehab patients to partnering with another specialty therapist for co-treatment, every day presents a new challenge. The Occupational Therapist provides evaluation, assessment, prognosis, treatment and education to patients and clients through a continuum of care according to the therapist's respective licensure/registration/certification, Code of Ethics, Federal/State regulations, JCAHO/UMQC and Care Center policies and procedures. Perform competencies as outlined in Rehabilitation Services Competency Assessment tools and demonstrate age specific care as established for area and job title. Required

• Graduate of an accredited school of Occupational Therapy
• Current CA OT License or Pending CA OT License (license must be in hand by start.)
• Current BLS from the American Heart Association
