Facility: BayCare Health System, Skilled Nursing Tampa-HomeCare Location: 8020 Woodland Center Blvd. , Ste. 100, Tampa, FL 33614 Status: Full Time, Exempt Shift Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Weekend Work: No On Call: Yes Home visits in assigned service area: Hillsborough The Home Health Occupational Therapist provides hands-on care in the home for a group of patients consistently using the principles and practices of Occupational Therapy.
Responsibilities include : Evaluates and develops specific treatment programs for individual patients based on their needs and in accordance with the principles and practices of Occupational Therapy. Responsible for providing the appropriate level of clinical direction for Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants. Required Certifications and Licensures: Occupational Therapist State of Florida Licensure Basic Life Support Driver's License State of Florida (Florida driver's license is required within 30 days of hire)
Bachelors Occupational Therapy Preferred Masters Occupational Therapy
1 year Occupational Therapy experience Preferred 1 year Home Care This position requires Level II screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse, managed by the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA).
