Organization: ABSMC-Summit Campus Position Overview: As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients regain independence and improve their quality of life. You will evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans that build or restore functional abilities, including activities of daily living, vocational skills, homemaking tasks, and overall independence for patients experiencing disabilities, injuries, illnesses, or developmental delays.
Working collaboratively with patients, families, caregivers, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members, you will provide compassionate, evidence-based care that supports each patient's unique rehabilitation goals. Through skilled assessment, ongoing evaluation, patient and family education, and effective communication, you will foster trust, engagement, and positive patient outcomes. In this role, you will utilize your clinical expertise to deliver high-quality occupational therapy services while ensuring compliance with applicable local, state, and federal regulations, organizational policies, and professional standards.
