Occupational Therapist, PRN, Acute Care Rehab

*Up to $1,000 Sign on Bonus* Baptist Medical Center hiring an Occupational Therapist to join our Acute Care Rehab Team at Baptist Medical Center, located in downtown Jacksonville, Florida. This is a PRN position which will provide coverage for at least 3 Day shifts per month and participate in a weekend coverage rotation. The Occupational Therapist will support the Rehab Team by working with a multidisciplinary team in an acute care setting.

Caseload includes various diagnoses - neurological, orthopedic, cardiac, and general medical.

Evaluates and treats patients in an adult acute care setting. Provides minimal outpatient care, mainly for neuro patients and upper extremity wounds (job competency training available). Works in a team environment with other Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, and Speech-Language Pathologists.

Provides ongoing patient and family education. Works with multidisciplinary teams outside of Rehab Services (hospitalists, physician specialists, nursing, and social services.) Experience

1 or more years of Acute Care Occupational Therapist experience strongly preferred Education & Credential
