About the role

Provides occupational therapy services to patients who have impairments, developmental disabilities, functional limitations, disabilities, or changes in physical function and health status resulting from injury, disease or other causes with some guidance. Actively collaborates with the health care/educational team to meet patient care, outcomes and system improvement objectives.

What you’ll do
Evaluate and treat adultEvaluate and treat adult acute care patients across a variety of medical and surgical service lines
Develop individualized treatment plansDevelop individualized treatment plans focused on functional independence and safe discharge
Provide ADL retraining, cognitiveProvide ADL retraining, cognitive assessment, upper extremity intervention, and patient/family education
Collaborate with interdisciplinary careCollaborate with interdisciplinary care teams regarding equipment recommendations and discharge planning
Document clinical findings andDocument clinical findings and treatment recommendations in the electronic medical record
