You’ll need
Certifications
✓Department of Consumers Affairs Bureau of Security and Investigative Services Guard Card (prior to employment start date) required.
✓Baton certification, chemical agents certification, and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) required within the first six months of employment.
Education
Associate's Degree preferred.
Minimum one year of experience in a hospital or university security environment or related experience preferred.

✓use computer, printer, and software programs necessary to the position (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

About the role
Job Summary: The Officer performs security service duties through professional and positive interaction with the public, students, employees and administrators. Responds to a variety of calls; provides assistance in emergency and non-emergency situations. Investigates and documents (both electronically and written) safety hazards, incidents and criminal activities.
